Career – recruitment Q&A

Hi, it’s nice to meet you! Your resume is an opportunity to convince us that we’re a good fit for each other. Be sure to include your work experience, job duties, and skills – this will help us assess whether you have the necessary skills for the position you’re applying for. If this basic information is missing from your resume, we may thank you for your participation in the process at this stage.

We will be happy to tell you about the details.

Career – recruitment Q&A

Hello, can you hear us? If your resume has passed the initial screening, our recruiter will call you to have a brief conversation. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes, during which we’ll ask you about your motivation to work for us, your availability and your financial expectations, among other things. We also explain how the process works and answer your questions.

Time for a special assignment! For technical positions (programmers, testers, architects), we always refer applicants to an aptitude test – it’s conducted entirely online. The test takes 45 to 60 minutes and allows us to assess your competency. We discuss it in detail in an online meeting and give you feedback. If you don’t pass the test, we’ll let you know the results and be happy to let you know what areas can be improved.

It’s time for us to get to know each other! We conduct all interviews for specialized positions remotely. For executive and director positions, we invite you to our office for a cup of coffee during the second phase. However, we conduct and complete most processes online. Interviews for IT last 1 – 1.5 hours and are 80% technical in nature. The recruiter and the team leader or IT manager participate in the interview. We emphasize openness and a good atmosphere; there’s no dress code. The purpose of the meeting is to get to know each other – so we’re very happy if you have any questions for us. We’re very excited to tell you what it’s like to work at Media4U.

That’s it! During the meeting, we’ll tell you when you can expect to hear back from us (we try to respond as quickly as possible, but sometimes the process takes longer for various reasons) – we’ll usually get back to you within a week. We also give feedback if we decide not to start working together.
If we’re all satisfied, we make you an offer to collaborate. We answer all your questions and dispel your doubts – we know that changing jobs is an important decision and we want you to have all the information before you make it.

Recruitment FAQ

Can I work from home?

Yes, of course! We work in a hybrid model – two days a week from the office, three days remotely. We also employ people from different parts of Poland who work 100% remotely. We also know that there are times when it is more convenient to work from home on a larger scale – we are open to such situations.

Will the company provide me with the necessary equipment?

Yes, we provide every employee with a laptop that works best with a hybrid work model. In the office, you can connect it to one of our hot desks (each equipped with two monitors). For positions related to customer service, we also provide business telephones. Our Systems and Networks department prepares a starter package before you start working and is happy to help you with technical issues during your work at Media4U.

Will I get feedback?

Of course! Although some recruitment processes take a bit longer and we need more time to get back to you with feedback – we don’t leave our candidates unanswered. We are in contact by phone and e-mail and we care about transparent communication.

What system will I be working on?

We give you a choice – you can work on Windows or Linux. We will ask you about your preference before hiring.

What hours will I be working?

We start work between 7:00 and 9:00, but we allow ourselves controlled deviations from this rule. Sometimes, for implementations at our clients, we work at non-standard hours. However, these are occasional situations that you will be informed about in advance.

What form of cooperation will the company offer me?

The one that will be beneficial for you and the one you choose. We employ both people on the basis of an employment contract and we cooperate with freelancers who carry out specific projects for us.

Is it possible to do internships in the company?

Sure! The condition is one: we must be able to provide you with an interesting and valuable internship. If, for example, due to intensive work on the project, it is difficult to find an internship supervisor, we will tell you about it directly and will not offer an internship. Otherwise, we will do everything to make our internship an unforgettable time for you. We publish our internship offers on an ongoing basis, but if you do not see anything for yourself – write to us, we will see what can be done.

You don’t see an offer for yourself, but you think we need someone like you?

Write to us and tell us about your strengths.
We will be happy to consider your application.
