New website with shopping module

The Happy Kids Foundation is an organization that has been working for children since 2001. Their goal is to provide equal opportunities for every child to achieve their goals in life, now and in the future.

The Foundation currently cares for 18 Family Children’s Homes, each with a maximum of 8 children. It actively supports foster parenting and public institutions deinstitutionalizing foster care and organizes training for potential foster parents.

Media4U has been supporting the activities of the Happy Kids Foundation for years, so there was no way we could help with a project in which we could best show what we do on a daily basis. The main goal of the joint activities was to change the graphic design of the website www.happykids.pl and to be able to sell audiobooks.

Assumptions

 

The implementation aimed to refresh the HappyKids website – it was necessary to have a new graphic design and a new brand identity, organize the data and structure of the site, while retaining key functionalities such as the ability to make donations. The old site was too chaotic – upon entering the home page it was difficult to identify the object of the activity, the color scheme used was too infantile, and navigating the site was unintuitive.

  • Preparation of the graphic design and new visual identity in cooperation with the Foundation’s graphic design department
  • Arrangement of data – page structure and nesting, presentation of relevant data on appropriate pages (design of the home page)
  • Contribute and help – the possibility of making a donation

What did we do?

 

Happy Kids Foundation cared about the fast pace of work. The functionality was implemented smoothly and timely. The biggest challenge was the dynamic changes in the project’s implementation —in the middle of the work on the site, there was a change in the visual concept. The final switchover to the new version of the service took place in September 2024.

Results

 

A fully functional website was created, which meets all expectations:

  • it is transparent
  • clearly communicates the goals of the Foundation,
  • allows intuitive navigation between subpages,
  • allows you to make a donation
  • enables the purchase of an audiobook

  • Possibility to sell audiobooks – the audiobook “Jas Skorobohaty. “, in which you can hear the voices of Magdalena Różdżka, Anna Dereszowska, Jarosław Boberek or Wojciech Mann – since the start of sales, has already been purchased 254 times!

 

The design of the new website was an important step for our Foundation – we wanted a quick implementation and clear communication of our activities. Media4U not only met these expectations, but also proved that flexibility and openness to change can go hand in hand with timeliness and high quality workmanship. Despite the concept change during implementation, the project was completed on time and today, we can enjoy a modern, intuitive website that supports our statutory goals.
