Before we started cooperating with R-GOL, the client was already selling online, utilizing several platforms tailored to different target groups. Additionally, a blog, R-GOL.info, was also being maintained.

Due to the continuous sales growth, new e-commerce solutions were needed, and the current store needed more time to be ready for such scaling. The store’s graphic design also needed a refresh to reflect the R-GOL community – modern and engaging.

At the same time, the extensive store offering required a maximally clear content architecture. Automation of order processing, returns, and complaints handling processes was also crucial, along with enhancing the functional part of the service with new solutions, shortening the purchasing path, and facilitating shopping – both in desktop and mobile versions.

What we did?



Research and analytical work enabled us to create UX mockups, which became the basis for implementing an effective content architecture. Simultaneously, dedicated graphic projects were being developed.

R-GOL.com store ensures order processing efficiency through integration with the ERP system – Streamsoft Verto. The platform gained a redesigned and expanded loyalty program and the ability to process returns and complaints automatically. We also integrated the store with the “Łączy nas piłka” (“Football Connects Us”) service, of which R-GOL is an official partner.

The previously run blog at R-GOL.info was integrated with the WWW application (R-GOL.com), allowing the store and the blog to be managed from one CMS system.

The mobile and desktop versions of R-GOL.com form a cohesive world of football shopping. The site layouts keep the customer in the same atmosphere, and the availability of all functionalities, products, and service offerings allows for seamless use of devices with the highest usability and shopping satisfaction.





R-GOL.com was supposed to provide customers with the option to customize products. For this purpose, we prepared an easy-to-use solution for product personalization by adding prints and embroideries, allowing users to create custom products.

Importantly, we developed an original personalization solution called R-ID, which enables ordering clothes from selected sports clubs, incorporating the chosen team’s original and licensed font and emblems. Each such product can be enriched with one’s own name or nickname and a chosen number.

One solution, many possibilities (Cartalo)



On our proprietary Cartalo engine, we built a new e-store, R-GOL.com and the R-GOL.club platform (B2T) from scratch. Based on it, a user-friendly CMS system allows managing each platform. The system is ready for integration and expansion with additional features as new needs arise.

Thanks to the Cartalo platform, R-GOL.com has access to modules tailored to the needs of growing sales, such as additional language versions or advanced marketing tools, including integration with email marketing tools.

Furthermore, the R-GOL.com platform is enhanced with three different search engines. Engines can be turned on and off for each application and language version, giving R-GOL.com customers a wide range of product search and filtering options.





The online store is available in 15 languages: English, German, Romanian, Bulgarian, Czech, Ukrainian, Slovak, and Greek. Customers can also pay for orders in one of the 8 available currencies. In its strategy, R-GOL.com has also focused on developing international sales. It offers delivery to 32 countries, mainly to the European Union, Ukraine, and Turkey. Importantly, from one CMS system, inventory levels can be retrieved from all brick-and-mortar stores, even beyond the borders of Poland.

Payments and loyalty programs



The platform has a loyalty program that allows collecting funds for orders in any currency, which are then converted into other online and in-store currencies. Additionally, the extensive promotion and discount code creation wizard and gift card functionality are worth noting, both online and in-store. We integrated the store with fast payments (Blik, Google Pay, Apple Pay) and the PayPo deferred payment system. We opted for a two-step checkout process, enabling quick purchase and order payment in a user-friendly manner.

Practically on all markets, R-GOL.com offers local delivery and payment options, including cash on delivery (in most countries). Each market is served in the local currency.


Awards and nominations



Together with R-GOL, we won the European E-commerce Awards 2022 in the EUROPEAN SPORTS, LEISURE, TOYS ECOMMERCE WEBSITE OF THE YEAR category! The competition jury spared no words of praise for the site, referring to the intuitiveness of our solution. It was acknowledged that our application is a convenient application where usability and design are the main features. The ability to deliver with cash payment upon receipt was also appreciated. Less than a year later, our cooperation with the R-GOL.com brand was honored with a nomination in the Design & Usability (medium and large entities) category in the XI edition of the prestigious e-Commerce Polska awards! It’s a great joy to create a new reality in the world of e-commerce jointly.
